Company History
Founded in June 2011 in Saarbrücken, Germany, by two tea-crazy enthusiasts, The Fresh Tea Shop has developed into the leading international supplier of creative tea specialties.
You can now enjoy The Fresh Tea Shop in seven locations, in three countries on two continents, and new locations, countries, and continents are constantly being added.

The foundation
Foundation of 'The FRESH TEA SHOP'. A brand is born. The idea is to create high-quality Asian teas in tasty, healthy alternatives to the monotonous beverage culture in Germany.
June 2011
Shop Saarbrücken
Opening of the flagship store in Saarbrücken. The FRESH TEA SHOP rents its first shop space in the discount passage under the main shopping street in Saarbrücken. Bahnhofstrasse 31, 66111 Saarbrücken.
May 2012
Shop Kaiserslautern
Opening of the shop in Marktstrasse in Kaiserslautern. Just a few meters from the mall and the bus station.

Shop Heidelberg
Opening of the shop in the Darmstädter Hof Centrum in Heidelberg.

Shop Ludwigsburg
Opening of the shop at the main train station in Ludwigsburg.

The FRESH TEA SHOP in bottles
The first launch of The FRESH TEA SHOP in bottles - 4 delicious teas that we designed for the Karlsberg Brewery and that are now available in many market chains and petrol stations.
The concept
- Life is too short for bad tea! - True to this - our - motto, we offer you the tea experience of a lifetime.
- Tea and the culture that goes with it is one of the oldest customs of all. Originally made in Asia, especially China, tea found its way to Europe in the 17th century. We at The Fresh Tea Shop have adapted Asian tea culture for the 21st century and offer a wide range of different tea specialties based on high-quality basic teas.
- Starting with pure teas, through milk teas & chai, to fruit and iced teas in various flavors, our range covers the entire spectrum of tea products. We also offer you a selection of coffee creations.
- Our tea cocktails are a special highlight. Classics such as the Thai Lemon Ice Tea, Awesome Strawberry, or the Green Hug, to name just a few, represent an outstanding combination between fruity cocktails and tea - and all without alcohol.
- Based on our three basic teas - green, oolong, or black tea - we offer a whole range of "toppings" with which our drinks can be individually designed and changed.
- We attach great importance to the highest quality ingredients and natural, fresh preparation, usually without the addition of sugar. Upon request, we can optionally offer our products in four different sweetening levels.
- And if you prefer to enjoy your tea in peace and quiet at home, you can also buy high-quality tea varieties, ingredients, and the necessary dishes in selected shops.
